Myth&Faith is one man by the name of Ken Rymar, who was intrigued and encapsulated by the warped sounds of electronic music since the age of 7. Since his discovery of early 90’s dance music (yes, even the Mortal Kombat dance anthem), Ken did not know what the terms “techno” or “electronica” meant, but he did know that the rapid 4/4 beats and strange sounds he was listening to got his blood boiling. He grew up through the rise of The Chemical Brothers and The Crystal Method, Oakenfold, and Tiesto; and experienced the vibes of euro-dance, hard house, and happy hardcore, and many other genres, before finally coming full circle and settling on the music that never seemed to leave him: psychadelic trance.

M&F has been DJ’ing in the VA/DC/MD region for the last 2 years, playing the likes of psytrance and house music wherever he can. His influence comes from the likes of artists such as: Astral Projection, Infected Mushroom, Twilight, Mahamudra, XSI, Juno Reactor, F.F.T, Han Solo, Lamat, Chakra, In-Panic, Space Cat, Pixel, Intersys, DJ Cyzum, and many more outside of the psy world. He is also dabbling in production, but that is a super secret project right now.

Myth&Faith — what does it mean? The name was selected for it’s detachment from definition. We live in a world filled with myths and personal faith.. faith in others, faith in one’s own self, and even faith in myths. The difference between myth and faith is sometimes indiscernible, sometimes it is as clear as night and day. Where the two separate and come together is based on your own thoughts. -M&F
